Clip of the Week: The UPlay Lounge Community Showcase Is Here — Submit Your Best Moments
Let's be real — some of the best gaming content out there never makes it past a Discord server or a group chat. A buddy pulls off an insane no-scope in Siege, someone in your For Honor crew chains together a combo that shouldn't be physically possible, or your Assassin's Creed parkour goes so catastrophically wrong that it loops back around to being genuinely amazing. Those moments deserve a bigger stage.
That's exactly why we're launching Clip of the Week here at UPlay Lounge — a recurring community spotlight dedicated entirely to celebrating the gameplay moments that make Ubisoft's library so endlessly entertaining. Every week, we'll feature standout submissions from across the Ubisoft universe, give credit where it's due, and make sure the people behind those moments get a little shine in front of our entire community.
This is your lounge. Let's fill it with great content.
This Week's Featured Clip: A Siege Moment That Broke Our Brains
This week's spotlight goes to GlitchHunter_Remy from Phoenix, Arizona, who submitted what might be the most chaotic successful clutch we've seen in Rainbow Six Siege in recent memory.
The setup: Remy's squad is down to a 1v3 in a ranked match on Border, thirty seconds on the clock, with Remy playing Jäger. No utility left. Objectively cooked. What follows is a forty-five-second sequence involving a drone-assisted rotation read, a wall bang that had no business connecting, and a final kill secured through a window that Remy himself described as "pure panic and muscle memory."
The clip ends with Remy's mic absolutely losing it, which honestly is the most relatable part of the whole thing.
"I sent it to the group chat and they didn't believe it was real," Remy told us over DM. "I had to go back and watch the replay three times myself."
That's the kind of energy we're here for. Remy's clip has already been shared over two hundred times since we teased it in our Discord, and we're thrilled to give it the full feature treatment it deserves.
(Clip embedded below — and yes, the wall bang is as clean as it sounds.)
Why We're Doing This (And Why It Matters to Us)
UPlay Lounge exists because Ubisoft games have always had an incredibly passionate, creative, and frankly hilarious player base. The problem is that great moments are scattered everywhere — buried in Reddit threads, lost in TikTok feeds, or just living in someone's local capture folder gathering dust.
We want to fix that. Not by aggregating clips algorithmically or chasing virality, but by actually curating the best stuff our community produces and giving it context, a proper showcase, and a home. When you submit a clip to UPlay Lounge, a real person watches it. We're not running this through a bot.
More than anything, we want Clip of the Week to feel like something you actually want to be part of — not just content consumption, but community participation. Every feature is a conversation starter, and we genuinely want to hear what the rest of the lounge thinks about each submission.
What We're Looking For
We're keeping this broad on purpose, because great clips come in all shapes. Here's the general breakdown of what tends to make the cut:
The Skill Showcase — A play so mechanically impressive that it makes viewers immediately want to go practice. Think frame-perfect parries in For Honor, multi-kill rounds in Siege, or a flawless stealth sequence in Assassin's Creed Mirage where everything just clicks.
The Chaos Special — Something went completely sideways and it was glorious. Maybe a mission went off the rails in the best possible way. Maybe an NPC did something that defies explanation. Maybe you accidentally stumbled into a situation that worked out against all odds. We love these.
The Creative Play — A clip that shows genuine game knowledge or out-of-the-box thinking. Unconventional strategies, unexpected operator combinations in Siege, unorthodox routes — anything that makes you think "I never would have thought to do that."
The Pure Hilarity — Self-explanatory. If your clip made your whole squad lose it, it's worth sending our way.
We cover all active Ubisoft titles — Rainbow Six Siege, the Assassin's Creed franchise, For Honor, The Division 2, XDefiant, and more. If it's a Ubisoft game and you've got a great moment from it, we want to see it.
How to Submit Your Clip
Getting your footage in front of us is straightforward. Here's the process:
-
Record your clip — Most modern consoles and PC setups have built-in capture tools. Xbox and PlayStation both let you clip directly from the share button. On PC, Ubisoft Connect, NVIDIA ShadowPlay, and AMD ReLive all work great. Aim for at least 720p resolution; 1080p or higher is preferred.
-
Upload it somewhere shareable — YouTube (unlisted is fine), Streamable, Medal.tv, or Google Drive all work. We just need a link we can access without jumping through hoops.
-
Send us the details — Head to our submission form at uplaylounge.com/submit-clip and fill in your username, the game, a brief description of what's happening in the clip, and your shareable link. Optional but appreciated: tell us the backstory. Context makes great clips even better.
-
Wait for the DM — If your clip is selected, we'll reach out through the contact info you provide before we publish anything. We'll always credit you exactly how you want to be credited.
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. We review everything that comes in, and clips can be held for future features if the timing doesn't work out for the current week.
A Few Ground Rules
We want this to be a space everyone can enjoy, so a couple of quick guidelines:
- No clips that demean, harass, or target specific players in a negative way. Funny is great; mean-spirited is not.
- Keep it related to Ubisoft titles. We know there are great moments in every game, but we're staying in our lane here.
- Clips should be your own footage. Don't submit someone else's content without their explicit permission — and if you do have permission, tell us that in the submission notes.
- No spoilers for newly released content without a heads-up in your submission. We'll add appropriate warnings if needed.
Join the Conversation
Every Clip of the Week feature comes with a community discussion thread in our forums where you can react, share your own related stories, and generally just vibe with fellow fans. Last week's thread turned into a forty-comment deep dive on Siege clutch mechanics that was honestly more entertaining than most dedicated strategy guides.
That's the whole point. The clip is the starting gun, not the finish line.
So whether you've got a submission ready to go or you're just here to watch Remy's wall bang for the third time — welcome to the UPlay Lounge Clip of the Week. See you in the comments.
